Overlooking the garden are two verandas, one of them roofed
over, where the guests of villetta Umberto may have their lunches
and dinners or enjoy cheerful open air barbecues surrounded
by all shades of blue and green between the sea, the sky and
the typical Mediterranean maquis.
The garden
The garden and porch areas are fitted with comfortable and
serviceable garden furniture: table, chairs, deckchairs. In
the garden there is also a handy outdoor shower.
The villa is also equipped with barbecue facilities for delicious
outdoor dinners of freshly grilled fish, meat and vegetables.
The environs
From the terraces and through the large French windows of
the house guests can enjoy unsurpassed views of two seas:
- to the North, the beautiful Marine Reserve with the commanding
Tavolara isle and the smaller islands of Molara and Molarotto;
- to the South, the romantic panorama of the San Teodoro marshes,
a birdwatching paradise where pink herons come to spend
the Winter, and the picturesque little harbour
of Puntaldia.
The nearest beach is hardly 150 metres away.
Between the two seas there rises the commanding
shape of Mount Nieddu.
